Rome Marathon takes place every year during springtime. Its 42 km 195 m route twists and turns across the city center, starting and ending on via dei Fori Imperiali next to the Colosseum.
A non-competitive event flanks the Marathon: the RomaFun. It’s a 5 km route across the center open to everyone without any restrictions: kids, school groups, elderlies, alone or together with their pets. The RomaFun is in other words a walk/run for non-professional participants. You can register to the RomaFun up to the very day of the event.
The Marathon Village is set up a few days before the race in the Eur neighborhood. It is a reference point for all those who need to collect their race package, make registrations and buy useful items.
